The Enugu State Commissioner for Health, Dr Sam Ngwu, confirmed the accident and said it occurred at Ugwu Onyeama, near Enugu at about 8.45 p.m. on Wednesday. NAN reports 40 people were involved in the accident, most of whom were between ages 7 to 15 years.

A teenage photographer took his life after his parents confiscated his electronic devices to stop him from always going late to bed. Ceri Sheehan, 15, had objected at first, arguing that he needed to hold on to his iPad but he eventually had to give it up after which he went to bed.
However,
the next day, Ceri was found dead in their garden by his father Michael
Sheehan at their home in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Though his iPad was
taken, Ceri managed to hang on to his phone with which he messaged one
of his friends that he "had something to finish". He went to the garden
after that and hanged himself.

The
accounts were frozen in December last year following allegations that
they were used for money laundering.

EFCC had called for an investigation into the accounts following claims that they were being used for money laundering and that the money found in them were proceeds of crime. The account was frozen in December last year.

5 Nigerian women, 28 others kidnapped by ISIS, turned into sex slaves
It has emerged that five Nigerians were among the 35 women captured by the Islamic state fighters in Sirte, Libya and turned into sex slaves for several months.
The
Nigerians, who have just been released by Libyan authorities, were
recovered by Libyan forces last December and were detained again in a
Misrata prison.
According to Reuters, the
Nigerians, alongside 28 Eritreans had escaped from Sirte, a former
Islamic State stronghold in central Libya, while forces from the nearby
city of Misrata battled to oust the militants late last year.
