'I cry whenever I see her personal belongings' - Nigerian man mourns death of his beautiful little daughter


Yusuf Hassan from Kano State is mourning the death of his little daughter, Nasmah. Born on May 2016, Nasmah passed away on April 9, 2017. The Bayero University graduate posted photo of the beautiful girl and wrote:

Electoral officials received N3bn as bribe to rig 2015 election, INEC claims as they suspend 205 Staff


205 members of staff at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been suspended and placed on half salary, after the consideration of a report by the Disciplinary Committee set up to look into an interim report by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), accusing some of its officials of fraud during the 2015 General Elections.
INEC claims N3 billion was spent in bribing electoral commissioners in 16 states during the 2015 general election.

Blogger Austin Okai, arraigned in court over story he wrote claiming Kogi Governor bought cars worth $12m for traditional rulers


A Kogi state based blogger, Austin Okai, has been arrested and arraigned before a Magistrate court in the state for allegedly publishing defamatory reports about the state governor, Yahaya Bello.


Okai who was arrested on Monday April 10th and transferred to Lokoja, the state capital, was yesterday arraigned in court on charges of circulating reports accusing the state governor of buying cars worth $12m for traditional rulers and commissioners, orchestrating rumors of the governor's death, and inciting the public against the stae governor.

Okai is also alleged to have planned to burn down the newly-built Revenue House in Lokoja. The court remanded Okai in police custody and adjourned his trial to Thursday, April 13th.

MTV reality star Clay Adler commits suicide


Reality TV star and actor Clay Adler is dead after committing suicide during a shooting trip to the desert with friends. Clay who appeared on 2 seasons of the MTV reality show, "Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County" reportedly struggled with mental illness in the past.
